google map this!
For a short time only (and for April Fools' Day), Google is bringing you an "Old School" 8-bit version of Google Street Maps. Just attempt any Google Map lookup & simply click the "Quest" icon in the right hand corner of your screen. Hey presto - you get your map in all its large pixel glory. It's pretty cool, so get in and check it out as soon as you can - for it won't be around for long. You can check out some famous world landmarks that Reddit users have added here: Browse Google Maps in 8-bit. Try Buckingham Palace, Taj Mahal, or the Sydney Opera House.
